Simple as it gets, pack your cluster and mail after placing online order from the website and include packing slip, soon as they got it they fix it and ship it right back the same day. It’s a simple process. Send your old gauge cluster to them, they fix whatever issue it had, replace all stepper motors & install new LED backlighting. I am extremely pleased with their work & prompt return shipping! I highly recommend them!

If I could leave 10 stars, I would. Having replaced bulbs on an ‘06 cluster before, I was not looking forward to doing it again. Having these guys do the bulbs and install a factory trans temp gauge was worth every penny. I’d recommend them to anyone with a GMT 800 that needs cluster work.

Purchased an '05 Silverado 1500 that had gauge cluster that needed drastic help. It had motors that were in terrible shape throughout the cluster, backlight bulbs that were already at least once replaced and already burnt out, and a godforsaken blue flame gauge face in the background. I mean, the previous owner was really nice, but I don't know what they were thinking putting some 90's themed stuff like that. Todd was able to repair everything, brand new oem factory gm gauge face, new stepper motors, new white leds, and upgrade my cluster to have a transmission temperature gauge too in no time. I've been driving the truck around for a few months now to see how things have been holding up and it's perfect. Having the cluster done up so nice really makes it enjoyable driving the truck again. I couldn't be happier. The turn around time was very quick too, I think the cluster didn't even spend a full 24hrs at the shop. I had my cluster back in only 4 days and I shipped from Houston. All in all I'm extremely happy with the outcome, thank you.

I have a 2004 Silverado that developed an issue with the cluster not going to sleep. I verified that issue after conducting a Parasitic Draw Test. My mechanic here in Az recommended me to send the cluster to GM Gauge Repair in Onalaska WI. Todd Haines was very helpful and prompt with any questions I had Via Email or Phone calls during the process. The process is very simple, From how to ship and when to expect it back. GM Gauge Repair also gives you the option to upgrade the cluster which I did. I went with the Blue LED, and it looks awesome. Pat was very helpful too with the upgrade. Billing is easy. The cluster rebuilds and upgrades are very reasonable in pricing. I highly recommend GM Gauge Repair for your cluster Issues. Turn around is quick.

I sent in my gauge cluster for a complete rebuild, and the work was completed exactly as promised. It was done the same day it arrived and promptly shipped back to me, which I really appreciated. The quality of the service and turnaround time were excellent. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to my experience with customer communication. I had a couple of reasonable questions about the process and shipping—especially considering this was a $500 component being sent across the country—but the response I received came off as impatient and rude. I understand being busy, but a little more professionalism in communication would go a long way.

My message center in my 2007 Tahoe went out and gear lights were dim. A couple businesses around me quoted me $300-500 to fix it. Kept searching and found Todd and a price that was affordable. I was skeptical about sending my cluster and a check and just hoping it was fixable. My husband said are you sure? I submitted my info and what was wrong and got a email back saying he could fix it. Boxed it up and out it went. There was a hiccup with the USPS and not delivering when said. I called the next business day to make sure it was delivered, I must have caught him in at a bad time. But he was short with me and assured he had it and would be shipped out the next day. Got it back and hooked up and everything was fixed. Thank you so much for the quick turnaround and affordable price. I would use this business again if needed.

I had a number issues with my 2004 Tahoe gauge cluster. Dim PND123 mileage read dim at times low blue light parasitic draw. So I ordered a complete rebuild. I also added trans temp gauge and LED lights. I couldn’t be more pleased! One day turn around. Worth every penny! I highly recommend them to anyone having issues with their GM gauge cluster. So impressed!

Couldn't keep a charged battery in truck so I shipped my gauge cluster to them for renew. It quickly came back to me and looks and works great after easy install. All lighting is bright and clean. Battery stays charge! Thanks

Can't remember if i ever put a review in for this company. I think it's been over 3 years since they repaired the cluster for my 2011 Impala. Still working great. With the extreme heat we have in Las Vegas, electronics fail regularly. Batteries too. Every 3 years. Especially on GM vehicles. I'm so happy and very impressed with this business. Many options for customization if you want to go that route also. Turn around is quick. If you want to pay for expedited shipping you can. Mine got back to me in about 8 days using ground shipping. I wasn't in any hurry. Anyways, thank you for the great repair. I've recommended this place to many family members and friends who live in Wisconsin and Minnesota. As well as people here in Nevada. Update 02-27-2025. Still working flawlessly after 7 years or so.

2003 Chevy Duramax; I'm a weekend warrior mechanic of sorts but tearing down my instrument panel with intricate electronics seemed out of my pay grade. After watching a YouTube tutorial to remove the panel I simply shipped it off to these folks. Wow! Not only did they fix my speedo issue but upgraded the lights to LED. It was quick and painless. All I had to do was plug and play the upgraded panel. I plan on driving this truck for years to come.

I work for the largest fire truck apparatus in the world and we were having issue with a GM cluster. I have use these guys in the past serval times when i was with Oreilly's and they have always done an amazing job. So i wanted to continue using them. So i sent this cluster out to them to fix an issue with the gauges not operating properly. When i received the cluster back it was worse than when it left. I called to ask if they check them before they leave to assure that everything is working as it should. And before i could even ask the guy i was speaking with just went off telling me that he knew this was going to be a problem because my cluster had already been worked on before. Now that is not what we do here so i know it was not us that had been in it before. But we do deal in used fire trucks so its possible. So he told me ill just refund your money and you can go to the parts store and buy a new one. Well no you cant this one is discontinued. Now my question is why was i not called and informed that this cluster had already been tampered with before he stared working on it. I would have told him not to bother with it then. He did refund our money but now i am left with a cluster that is pretty much worthless. But thats ok we'll handle it. We are not upset with GM gauge repair just wish there would have been a phone call letting us no that this may not work on account of someone else tampering with it before. I left 4 stars because they have done good work in the past and always treated me right and they did refund the money. Thanks for your time and God bless.

Response from the owner:We bench test every instrument panel numerous times before we ship them back. All tested fine or we would have called and discussed your options and the charges. We did not go off on anyone. The gauge cluster had numerous stickers on the back cover meaning it had been repaired or rebuilt numerous times. Upon disassembling the gauge cluster there was obvious shotty work done previously. It also had obvious signs of previous excessive heat as the circuit was yellow instead of white, likely due to the vehicle idling for long periods of time. Somethings are what they are and we tried our best. We see instrument panels weekly with previous repair attempts. Your gauge cluster is still a good core if you choose to do an exchange or have another company attempt repairs. There are other companies that can do an exchange on them besides the company I referred you to. Thanks for the 4 star review.

Thoroughly impressed. Shipped my cluster out around noon on a Monday and had it back by noon that next Friday. 5 day turnaround is impressive. Always questionably when dealing on line what kind of service you’ll get. I didn’t opt for any upgrade’s because I wanted to keep the truck as stock as possible (03 Silverado). After seeing the finished product, I wish I would have upgraded to LED’s and trans temp. My gauge cluster looks better than new and is working perfectly. No dust, solder or anything else left behind. I almost wonder if Todd didn’t buff out the entire cluster and gauges just because he could. Highly recommended.

Over the years I've taken a few different guages here. I've sent family and friends here. Always a great experience. Quick turn around. So Happy I came across this business. Super-fast turnaround and great craftsmanship. I got my cluster back and was very dismayed that it still did not work. I sent an email explaining the issues I was having. Todd was fast to respond, he explained that they do a calibration and bench test on every cluster before it gets shipped out. He gave me a couple things to check on my end to make sure it wasn't the vehicle. And if it still didn't work, get it back to him and they would fix it. Happy to report that it was in fact some corrosion on my IPC-DIC fuse. Cluster works flawlessly. Overall great experience. I will not hesitate to send another cluster in to be rebuilt if needed. If you have a dead cluster or need cluster repair, these are your guys! Great experience!

Just wanted to thank you for the great job you did on my instrument cluster for my Tahoe. The turn around time was great. I pulled the cluster on Monday morning and shipped it to you at 10:30 AM. I got it back at 3:00 PM on Wednesday. Fifteen minutes later it was in the vehicle and back on the road. It works perfectly.
